Who was in the wrong here?
Anonymous No.213417390
It was funny how the singer from Sublime was a completely clean, straight edged kid. All of a sudden he's signed to a record label and he becomes a rock star. And do know what all rock stars need? A heroin addict. How can I be authentic if I'm not a junkie? I'll start shooting up right now!

Jane was a liability to Walter so she had to go. The plane crash was unfortunate however

Waltโ€™s clearly in the wrong from a standpoint of morality, even though I understand why he didnโ€™t try to help her. I think deep down everyone probably knows he was in the wrong.

Not your female?
Not your problem.

This "intervene" culture bullshit needs to die.

It actually violates the NAP to save junkies from overdoses because by touching them they could transfer fentanyl dust to you for free which is communist and violates the basic human need to exchange substances to each other at a fair market price.

A โ€œdecentโ€ person would see another person suffering or in danger and help them. Yes Jane had regressed into a destructive addict but watching her choke on her vomit and not helping would be still unacceptable if we were following the criteria of what makes someone a good person.

Drugs are admittedly fantastic, but potential usage must always be subjected to a simple risk vs reward equation in the mind of the user in order to avoid situations of retardation eg. overdose, accidental death etc.

No doubt the high of heroin is amazing, but heroin usage statistically involves an unattractively high probability of death in a variety of retarded possible scenarios - some of which the user is not realistically able to exercise control over.

Conclusion: reward not worth risk.

Obviously Jane, but Walter wasnโ€™t doing a good deed or anything like he was definitely telling himself either.

I remember when I was a kid very rarely you'd see a guy being abusive to his girlfriend in public and I would think what a pos.
After you've been in some relationships with stupid women who like to act up you'll see it is often the womans fault.

interesting point

then again if jane hadn't blackmailed walt and threatened to tell the cops about him earlier perhaps walt would've rolled her over instead of watching her choke

so really it's all gomie's fault

It was actually pretty impolite of her to just choke to death in front of him like that. Good manners cost nothing.

Jane was fine until she got back on the gear with Jesse then she immediately turns into a total junkie retard doing incredibly stupid shit while babbling about how "but I'm totally gonna get clean, like for real this time, right after this one last hit"
all standard junkie behavior

If you're taking so much that you need a pillow and rolling on your back kills you then that shit is only a matter of weeks before you're dead. Say what you will but he saved Jessie's life.

Pretty sure the maker of the show said Jane knew how to get this high safely and that Jessie would have left her eventually though. Also, you know, her dying caused her dad to space and had that plane crash.

Breaking Bad was really stupid when you stop and think about things.

When you're in a position to save the life of someone who is dying right in front of you, and all it takes is a trivial amount of energy, and you don't do it, then you have done something deeply unethical. It's not on the same level as killing someone, but it's still very wrong. But to be fair, this is a very specific scenario. If there is some risk involved with you saving someone's life, like that it would reasonably pose a danger to your life, then I don't view inaction in such a case as wrong.
