What the everlucking fuck is Charlottes Web even about? The story males no sense and there is no real conflict. Its just about a fucking spider that types shit out on the web and then fucking dies

What's weird is that she writes stuff like "Some pig!" and "What a pig!" and that saves Wilbur. I would be more impressed with the spider.

I remember there was a movie my family was watching about the vietnam war (I think) and an American soldier had a Vietnamese girl cowering in her hut and was pretending to be nice to her but then it cuts to her stumbling out revealing that he had stabbed her in the stomach

I was like 7 years old and I held it in and went to the backyard to cry where no one could see. Anyone know what movie that was?

There was one Garfield comic where he had a thought bubble wondering what it would be like if he married Arlene and they had three kittens. He concludes that he would be a bad father and walks away from the thought bubble, but the three kittens are still there, and they're crying.

It's about people having their own talents despite not being liked by their appearance. It's about ostracized people being more empathetic, and finally about dying. Now that I think about it, it's a mess.

Literally the first movie that taught me the concept of death by just existing to long.
The Secret of NIMH taught me the concept of death by the hands of another.
Society literally does not need to do that anymore with social media.
Kids can just know what death is by TikTok.

I do agree KIDS should not use social media because of creeps and bad intention from others. I do however feel social media is required to reach other to people who are like minded. It is a double edge sword and the wealthy and powerful should not have a monopoly on information.

You think that's a mess? You think THAT'S a mess? Buddy, LIFE is a mess. There ARE multiple themes and feelings that arise that we all have to deal with. Pig nature, human nature, farm nature. Yes, there is an uneven distribution of talent and beauty. Empathy and ostracization are facts of the world. Spiders are feared and hated while caring for the downtrodden. An orphan owes his life to a monster. A farmer, a man who spends his life slaughtering livestock, spares a pig because he reads it's "terrific". A little girl learns what a farm is all about. An obnoxious rat grows obese, but everyone who has had to put up with his SHIT still shows concern for his health! He says "Who wants to live forever". Hundreds of people go to a fair, and NOT ONE of them know that a dying gray spider played the most important role of all, and not a single person, animal or man, is with her when she dies. Summer ends, fall begins, eggs hatch, life begins again. If YOU think all that together in one Early Reader book, is a mess, then YOU can't handle the mess we live in, and what the FUCK are you doing in a Charlotte's Web thread?

Did they ever give us the POV of the bugs she ate? All the animals are talking, why wouldn't her prey talk too? Did we ever get the POV of the person that her brood lands on? Was that last one on Robot Chicken? Am I seriously that bereft of creativity that I mistook a Robot Chicken sketch as my own idea?
