Snyder damaged the DC brand so much no DC move will ever make a billion again
>be real estate agent named Snyder.
>Be give keys to most valuable property.
>Run it into the ground and get fired.
>Keys are given to new guy who tries to fix it.
>"Haha the house isn't worth as much because the new guy isn't as good a real estate agent as snyder"
This is how snyderfans think.

Fun fact, superman is much more brutalistic than the faggot depiction they made of him in this most recent release…get a fucking grip

So there's no real debate the new DCU will flop and it's just a scramble for excuses at this point

Why are the Snyder/Gunn Jeet wars still going on?
The movie came out weeks ago. Don't you people have anything better to do?

Snyder burnt the house down. After a decade of miserable grimdark box office bombs the general public knows to avoid DC films like the plague.

eh not really
they weren't that bad, the last one was a lot better received by whedon's garbage and its mere existence was all thanks to fans demanding it, which rarely happens
marvel just built an empire before dc had done anything of the sort cinematically

Snyder hasn't been invovled since 2017 and his films were profitible. Everything after was not him. When they let him finish his Snyder Cut, he proved everyone wrong.

Stop being dumb.

As an oldfag I never would have guessed I would have lived in a world where Marvel would be more popular than DC. Maybe it’s just my childhood, and how much of an impact my older brothers had.

I would have thought people would stop pretending to care about Superman by now

Where does this anti-snyder stuff mentally come from?
I think I understand the pro-snyder fans are all Indians and Brazilians who are taken in by the hamfisted imagery and "badassery".

But do people only hate Snyder as a reaction against the cringey low IQ fans, or do they genuinely hate him?
It's bizarre to blame Snyder for ruining the DC film universe when he basically made it. It's obvious that every attempt to stop Snyder from damaging the IP has actually been what's damaging it.

> h no DC move will ever make a billion again:

Only Aquaman made a billion and Snyder had nothing to do with that movie. Batman is the only character that made a billion with Dark Knight and Rises. So not like DC was pumping out billion dollar movies.

Besides Casting all the leads, producing, picking the director and original script sure I guess
Are you also going to go with the cope that he did nothing on Wonder Woman as well?

I've never really been all that sold on the supposed Snyder fandom. Much like the initial talk about the new Superman and the new Fantastic Four movies, it seems much like something produced by an astroturf campaign. The recent Superman movie "failing" is more to do with movies being in severe decline as popular entertainment. As dismal as the 2010s was for mainstream films, it's a lost age of glory compared to this decade. Studios will slowly accept that theatrical releases that cost hundreds of millions are no longer a good investment, and theaters will continue to clear out and close up shop. It's over, folks.

>and theaters will continue to clear out and close up shop
Or just screen good movies and classics.
Not everything has to be new, newer, newest.
That's the mentality and the business model that needs to die, not the proper big screen movie viewing experience as a whole.
