Okay but why is it so stacked with all stars and recognisable faces? Is Hollywood so shit scared of flops now that even a Nolan movie needs a dozen visibility anchors to make it a safe bet? All these actors are so well known that they're just gonna take me out of the movie - I don't see characters, I just see the actors.

So since this is already nothing like the Odyssey at all why bother even calling it that beyond just shitting on it? Not like it's some huge and popular franchise. This is just a fuck you based on casting alone. I can't imagine the actual movie does any better.
