>classroom of kids runs out of house at night and disappears >except one kid >his great aunt is an evil witch who summoned the kids to drain their energy >most of the movie is four pov sequences from people involved >druggie breaks in looking to pawn stolen stuff finds the kids >cop who arrested him earlier comes back both get possessed
>school teacher of missing class and father of missing kid team up after possessed principal attacks teacher >they follow the missing kids trajectories back to the kids house >teacher and parent go to hiuse >fight scene with possessed druggie and cop against teacher and parent >witchs nephew possesses the kids to attack the witch >they eat her alive >the end
thats what I remember. Nothing that deep about it just a couple set pieces, really

There are also random dream sequences.
One which is Josh Brolin seeing a massive floating AR over a house
The dream shit isn't explained and no idea how it ties into the actual storyline. The script feels half done, yet that was indeed the finished script that was filmed.

Yeah, nothing is really that deeply examined or analyzed so I don't get why everyone's acting like this is something super deep shit and Hollywood paid a shit load for the script. It's pretty standard hollywood horror.
The hollywood hype machine has been pissing me off lately
