Idk why anyone would be a cop in a big city, especially in a blue state, if shit goes down you know your police chief and government aren’t going to have your back and you’re just risking your life and career over nothing. If I were them I’d just put in no effort and not try too hard to enforce any laws, which it seems like a lot of them are doing anyway.

is it crazy to anyone else just how casually body cam footage gets uploaded/disseminated across the internet? Just some absolutely humiliating, potentially life ruining videos released to millions of viewers without the recordee's consent. Maybe a petty shoplifting thing or a dumb kid caught drunk driving which would be a slap on the wrist eventually forgotten about is now documented and platformed permanently for the world to see forever. Why does nobody seem to see an issue with this?

15 years ago some dumb bitch deputy went on a fishing expedition with me, arrested me and charged me with “evading police” when I didn’t pull over immediately on an unsafe road. Bitch destroyed all the footage and never showed up to court, I heard she got promoted later lol.
