I'll keep saying it.... The Onslaught/Heroes Reborn story is the BEST and ONLY way to COMPETANTLY introduce the X-men into the MCU....

...all Disney/Feige have to do is tell the story backwards....

That the MCU we all known was in fact the pocket universe Franklin Richards created to save the non-Mutant superheroes during the fight against Onslaught.

But since the events of Endgame, when Iron man snapped Thanos away, it destabilized the pocket universe, and the X-men from the 'real world' have to rescue them somehow... but not without having the threat of Onslaught coming back...

...then during the next few MCU movies, each movie would have an end-credit scene of an X-men trying to rescue their Avenger friends.

...like say for example, at the end of a Black Panther movie, Storm would come to rescue her husband T'Challa....

...or Wolverine reuniting with his old WW2 buddy Captain America...

... or Beast using his dual-membership as an Avenger to gain access to the Avenger's Tower to warn the rest of the Avengers that their reality is collapsing...

...All leading up to a classic "Avengers vs. X-men" showdown event movie.... ending with another showdown with Onslaught which causes the MCU to merge back with a greater known Marvel Universe...melding the X-men franchise with what we've seen of the MCU too.

He had been on various X teams during krakoa.
But during the last Hellfire Gala, where they announced the new x-men lineup for the next year (you could vote online), Juggy is voted onto the team seconds before nimrod piledrives the event and throws Juggernaut over an ocean.
Marvel hit a big reset button on x-men, krakoa went back to its home planet, and they relaunched all the titles.
Chuck made the world think he did a war crime in order to gain the trust of the anti-mutant organization that was secretly controlled by a post-singularity AI of Nathaniel Essex that exists outside of time so he could send out a beacon so jean grey as the phoenix could go through time to have some metaphysical battle.
They rebooted all the titles and reset the status quo. Cyclops is leading an X men team based out of alaska, in an old sentinel base, with magneto in a wheelchair (he lost his powers because of some dumb side effect of mutant ressurection, despite the fact that the last time he died he made it impossible to be rezed by the mutant protocols, and storm had to do some stupid bullshit to actually pull him out of the afterlife to fight in the big final battle against Orchis.
Anyway, Magik is on the team, psyclock, juggernaut, and beast (but not the beast that went crazy as the krakoan glowniggerinchief, but a clone with a memory backup from when he was on the avengers and had a bromance with wonder man).
Rogue is leading another team with gambit out of Louisiana.
Then they had another line with emma frost and kitty pride in new york, but it was awful and got canceled a couple months back.

When he recovers he has bone claws which is a pretty solid wolverine era.
