>>213451775 (OP)not in theatres for another 2 weeks here
yeah looks like you uploaded the poster
>>213451775 (OP)It was shit besides a few funny jokes but that couldn't save it overall.
>>213451775 (OP)yeah
it's meh
still better than I expected tho, since I expected utter shit
It's fine but lacks the charm of the original. The jokes are way better in the original as well and set up perfectly.
>HEY...IT'S ENRICO PALAZZO
they remade such a bad movie baka
I would rate that movie at about 88%.
Taken in three 20-minute chunks, the middle is better than the ending which is better than the beginning.
So, 2>3>1.
Ultimately a few jokes run slightly, SLIGHTLY too long. Like, theyre a good joke, then they're a great joke, then they keep going exactly long enough to be mid-jokes. It happens maybe 3 or 5 times.
Also, there is one joke set-up in the opening that is recalled at the end, and when it happened, wife said "I was looking for [that] through the whole movie!" and I said "oh, did you think it was going to be subtle?"
Also, there are A LOT of "in the background" jokes. Like classic Police Squad. So many and so ubiquitous, that some aren't even in focus:
Completely unrelated to the plot, Frank is walking passed a coffee shop, and the logo is so out of focus you can barely make out that it looks like a hand flicking a coffee bean, with a name you cannot make out that is likely something like "flick your bean coffee." It is completely and totally out of focus.
Also, HUGE PROPS to the people who made this movie; Its runtime is nearly 1:1 the same as the original.
Yeah, I liked it.
Not as good as 1 or 2, better than 3, and almost as good as 2. Almost
It was kind of a parody kore of Superhero movies and/or MISSION SPY MISSION movies, than of cop movies.
>>213451775 (OP)So, the whole point of casting Liam Neeson was as a joke, because people keep mistaking the names with Leslie Nielsen, right?
>>213453300Mistaking? What do you mean?
Also, he can play straight really well. He's delivering every line like he's growling into the phone on Taken. And the lines are goofy.
>>213454192That joke basically saved the whole movie.
>>213454743Michelle Trachtenberg is like 39, you creep.
Just saw it. Pretty hit or miss but I still laughed pretty loudly in the theater at several jokes
The third act was really lame. Very devoid of jokes or charm, and the bad guys plan is copied directly from Kingsmen and Naked Gun does nothing funny or interesting with it.
>>213451775 (OP)Do actresses call you a rapist if you deny their advances on set and just tell them that you were just acting and that a movie set isn't a dating app?
Hypothetically speaking of course

>>213454743Damn didn't even notice that. She is old as fuck. Like why the fuck are they casting old women in movies? I'm not trying to speak for all consumers but I don't enjoy looking at old women
>>213456215>no Naked GunUpdate and I'll contribute.
>>213456272The poll is for straight action films not comedies.
It was funny, but I disliked that they straight up stole a joke from Austin Powers
>>213451775 (OP)Who was the guy with Bisping and Anik on the booth? Is that actually someone real or just a made up character?
>>213451775 (OP)I liked it. Laughed a lot, less towards the end, it ran out of steam a little.
>>213451775 (OP)Who is the token nog they got to replace OJ?
>>213454192i didnt understand this joke. i thought it was random nonsense, which aggravated me because the originals all the jokes made sense in context. explain it to me anyone?
Armond White has declared that we have to hate it
you all know the rules
>>213451775 (OP)My favorite joke was at the beginning, when Liam Neeson throws the body shield at the robbers, and they keep shooting it for no reason.
>>213457200The comment is transcluded from a DM I sent my friend about it; he is a huge fan of the original.
It isnt organic in that I didn't type it for here, but it is the way I would format this same message, because it is how I did.
My natural way of typing often befuddles you.
>>213457060How the fuck did you not get it?
>>213457060Are you stupid? He's trapped in a car that's going drive into the ocean. He thinks to shoot out the windshield to try to escape. He improbably ends up with balloons and bees getting into car with him, which is undesirable, then even more improbably ends up with a brand new replacement windshield landing where the old one was, trapping him and the balloons and the bees in the still moving car.
Get tested for brain damage, these are Wile E Coyote level gags
>>213451775 (OP)I laughed at least once a minute. It was jam-packed.
>>213457543oh so i do "get it" then and i was right that it is simply random nonsense. the originals weren't much random nonsense but more like high iq cleverness. i mean its still funny though its just i was right, there's nothing to "get" about it
>>213458087You're psychotic
>>213451775 (OP)I just watched Loaded Weapon 1 for the first time and was surprised to see this actually stole jokes from it, like henchmen waiting in a line to get beat up and somebody tripping over and knocking down subtitles
>>213451775 (OP)I don't watch woke garbage
