AI isn't trying to be logical. It doesn't have human character and production designers "figuring out" what will scare the audience. It creates random motions that don't make physical sense in a way a person couldn't do deliberately, and seeing them rendered so visibly triggers our innate "what I'm seeing shouldn't exist" instincts. Grotesque AI video generation like this is the closest moving pictures have ever come to depicting nightmares.
