This is unironically probably the most thing when selecting a political leader; they need to have skin in the game. Having no children means that they will be less impacted by the decisions they make. Knowing that their own children will be affected by the political decisions they make will endevour them to make better ones.

This is not to say that political leaders that are also parents are perfect but they are certainly collectively better on average than those who are childless.
