There's a lot of potential in the film but it's sadly wasted. I actually like how he wasn't successful at all at first but after that the film becomes silly with all the Americans etc. Also this is probably the worst "romance" I've ever seen in film. These people are both like 30 and they seem to have a combined sexual age of about 6. Like they've been hanging out their entire adult lives and both want to fuck eachother (extremely unrealistic but let's go with it) and somehow they just never did. They hang out and make music all the fucking time but are apparently to shy to ever even think of fucking for over a decade. Shit makes no sense it's just weird at that point. That's not a love story that's just mega-autism.

I really don't know what Danny Boyle was thinking with this one. It felt like it probably got re-written 50 times before they made it (wikipedia kind of backs that up).

There is a whole other romantic interest in the trailers they cut out. He keeps having a 'final relationship convo' with the main girl like every other scene it felt like a damn time loop.

They paid $10 mil (out of a 26 mil budget) to license the beatles discography but didnt' play ONE DAMN SONG IN FULL what the fuck. It's always the first 30 sec or last 30 sec of a song or just a montage.

The part where he visits john lennon (hey its begbie!) was kino, and I liked the horror turned comedy plotline with the other 2 people who remember the beatles.

I didn't think there should be all this other stuff that he remembers like coca cola, harry potter, etc. Should have been just the beatles alone.

Also really weird to see ed sheeran in a movie but I guess british ppl are used to him.
