The original show run and the 1st movie are my favorites. They feel like the Wild West of tv/film, just a bunch of retards doing dumb shit and pushing boundaries. The second movie is when the decline started, corporate started really getting their teeth into it, the whole thing started soft. For example, and I hope im remembering this right or you guys are gonna call me names, the porta potty bounce where Steve-0 gets covered in shit is in jackass 2, and there’s just 0 chance that was a real porta potty with real shit and piss in it. If it was movie 1 or the show, maybe. But why would insurance and corporate risk Stevo getting hepatitis or violently sick so he can’t shoot for 2 weeks? When you can just whip up some fake doodoo. And indeed when you watch it, that’s not what it looks like. Just go take a peek inside a porta potty if you don’t believe me. Anyway, the fake-ness got worse and worse with every movie.
