I remember kinda enjoying the first run of the comic, just purely from visual junk food type of perspective. I didn't really think anything in it was that edgy that I hadn't seen any other piece of media do before (the part with the cross group masturbating onto a bunch of bullets to infect people with their zombie jizz made me laugh when it was supposed to be frightening). There was also a bunch of parts that seemed like very out of place grandstanding, which I think the intention was supposed to be a "despite everything going to shit there's still goodness out there" type of message but it was executed really awkwardly, particularly the whole chapter about the old guy admitting that he used to be serial killer that would lure gay guys into his basement and kill them but he was remorseful about it and was glad he finally met friends with the group before they took him aside and killed him off page. Just seemed like an incredibly strange addition to dedicate a whole chapter for.

I tried reading the sequel/spinoff that was basically a Mad Max parody where all the women sex slaves overthrow the fat guy but got bored mid way and dropped it. I didn't even realize they made more comics after that.
