It might also be that I've been cutting quilt stuff while also watching Mr Sunshine and missing out on the nice visuals for the past couple episodes. I really do enjoy the scenery, framing, colors, all of it. Very nicely done.
/kdg/ quilt update: had to reprint the My Mister image THREE TIMES for various reasons, starting to think it's cursed. It's good now though. I'm going to keep cutting out pieces from fabrics that I already have, but I'd really like to go shopping for more/new fabrics.... even though I probably don't "need" to, I WANT to. Something about hunting down ajumma fabric prints is exciting. Like a tacky leopard print: staple of ajumma-wear.

The story was boring. The characters did very little. It didn't even end properly and very obviously was adapted from some webtoon or something and only really covered the intro or the first arc.

One of the things kdrama still do better than western shows in this netflix slop era is at least they end. At least they always tend to tell a story in one season.

You're oversimplifying. D+'s Moving was 20 episodes and had plenty of character development. My point is that with D+/Nf it's "as needed" and not an external constraint that has nothing to do with the show.

Kino of the year was 12 episodes long, it would not have been improved by having to pad out the runtime to 16 episodes just because autists are used to it as standard and shriek at anything that diverts from that.

I learned from a 1980s hangul book, and apparently all the words and sentence structure are antiquated and would be like a modern day american speaking in a 1800s style or something. But anyway the hangul characters are the same!

The ML is a mess and disappears multiple times for years, but the FL still holds onto her love for him even when other people tell her to move on.
