I like when he returns to the apartment to clean it only to find it spotless. A really perfect adaptation of that scene from the book.

Yeah, that's great. The dynamic so complex and the viewer as well as Bateman are unsure what he knows and suspects. Also when they are at lunch, when the camera stays fixed on Bateman while Dafoe talks/questions is quality. They have several good meetings in the book as well.

Unfortunately the play was a financial failure and only ran for a month or so before folding. A real shame because I think it was great. There are bootlegs of the whole thing on youtube, definitely recommend watching it if you're a fan of the movie. Fairly different take on the character and makes some changes to the plot, so it doesn't just feel like watching the movie on a stage which is nice.
