Maise plucks out her eyes and holds her hands out like frankenstein's monster, looking for where she's going, already forgotten.
Frankenstein snatches the eyes. Impatient. And a brain.
Maise stares dumbfounded.
Never mind.
I'm going to make you a beautiful girl. Frankenstein coos talking to his bride, Maise thinks he's talking about her. Brightens up.
She's out into the better woman. Every last piece of her, patches sewn in. It's awake. Frankenstein sees if it's alive. No. Another failure.
"You don't want me alive."
He turns.
"You just want him back, so you're not a monster"
He'll never learn.

She's a computer. Better than questions at least.

He tries potions of notions on her. Makes his work result as intended. It's easier with a woman. And she'll make the creature him.
She doesn't want to go, but she wants to know the world as if it's how he sees it.
It isn't it's horribly clean. No life at all. Just happy things not acknowledging their doom. They don't keep anything. They don't want to. He's the same. She's alone. She finds hope in the creature, follows him by stories, something not quite right and then definately not right and then we need to destroy it. All against him. He must be worth a damn.
He's moping where they will come from him. Resigned to his unfair fate. He wants to live, there is no way in this world.
She shares his strife, soaks it up. Seduces him revealing her patches. They make love. Dirty inside the clean world can't clean up.
She saves him takes him back to the lab. Frankenstein wants to give the creature himself. Like that is help. Self sacrifice to make him immortal. Take over the creature and have his wife. Doesn't seem honourable at all. It seems clean. But the bride wants someone on their side looking after them. To her the web's and decay are his. His to maintain. Them his.
