Okay, this time for real, for the anons who haven't seen it yet, but are allergic to shilling.
The Expanse is good. It's not a masterpiece. The quality fluctuates, but at the very least it's never shit. It comes very close in the last season to being shit (the least likable main character has some family drama), but that is about 1% of an otherwise very engaging story with actually quite a lot of "holy shit" moments.
Most people get filtered by the first few episodes, which I don't understand, because they usually say "nothing really happens", but that's not true at all, a shitload happens if you're paying attention.
You know why GOT turned to shit? They ran out of books, because that fat lazy fuck got too much money, then those two retards had to headcanon half the tv series. The good thing about Expanse is that the tv series 1) didn't run out of books and 2) the same people wrote the series as the books, you really can't ask for more in an adaptation, imo. Now the sad thing is it's based on 9 books (3 trilogies if you will), and only the first 6 were filmed, and of fucking course the last 3 are where the craziest mind-blowing shit goes down. But those book also have a huge timeskip, so I guess it's never too late to make them.
The creators were smart and started their own production company so no studio owns the rights and can't just sit on it until judgement day, doing nothing with it (like Firefly). Actually, they're making a 3rd person shooter game with a decent budget right now.
Still, it is kind of lame that they started setting up the last 3 books in season 6, only for it to "end". I still believe one day it'll come back. I mean, crazier things have happened.
