The whistle was fun, befitting of Moore camp

TMWTGG is one of my favorite Bonds. I could rewatch it every week for the rest of my life.

Most of the Moore Bonds are infinitely rewatchable.

The Voodoo movie was horrible. It had the stunt with the alligators so there's that. Remember the Asian girl kung-fu twins in this movie, lel. Espionage used to be cool.

Moonraker is like three Bond movies in one, I don't get bored of it. It's the right kind of ridiculous peak franchise excess before they pussy out and start toning everything down to be more gritty and grounded for the sake of the source material.

Moonraker is massively underrated. They unironically spared no expense in order to entertain. Also I like that space tomboy girl who appears in a couple of scenes.

Moonraker has the most locations in a Bond movie (this was pre internet, the world wasn't mapped), It has the most gadgets, it has Barry pulling out everything in his arsenal for one grande finale. I read it got shit on for trying to follow the space trend at the time. But if we look at "The Empire Strikes Back", it was released in 1980, and "Moonraker" was released in 1979, so for sure it did not try to cash in on "the space trend". When it comes to locations, gadgets, music, villains. Perhaps not the movie that is truest to the essence of James Bond, for sure it's a very great and underrated movie in the Bond franchise. The years have been kind to it. Next up is: "Never Say Never Again." another movie that needs reevaluation.

One thing the Bond movies did have, was awesome stunt work.

LALD is fine but not as good as most other classic Bonds. It feels like a TV show more than a movie.
