Just got dumped from a 7 year relationship. I begged her for 30 days straight to stay and to make this work. There was no infidelity. The reason was because I asked to break up with her a few times this year, but I never meant it. I would always com back after a couple of days, apologise, and tell her I did not mean it. We saved up enough to get a house, but she just left her job in this awful job market. Spent a lot of time with her recently divorced whore cousin who constantly had her male friends around. She obliged to them off, but wanted to tell her that I wasn't comfortable. I didn't want her to, because it would sour the relationship with her family, and forced her to go on an out of state concert trip with her and her male friend, which she wanted to go for but decided to bail on because of how I felt about it. My rationale was that she would be bitter about it, and it escalated to the point where I said those things.

I once dated a girl for a few weeks and once it started getting real I "broke up" with her because i'm a commitmentphobe and I also refuse to allow myself to be happy. I thought about grovelling for another chance but I didn't do it, I assumed she wouldn't be interested. I always felt she was too good for me. It fucked me up even though I did it. I haven't found anyone I like in that way ever since.

I was a pretty horrible partner man.
She was wonderful. She had her flaws but she never gave up on me no matter the amount of times i fucked up. Begging, apologising and promising to change was the least i could do
