Snyder is the reason the DC brand is damaged beyond repair.

600k on a 225k budget is pretty good for post-covid capeshit. And as others said the main point is a successful jumping off point for the DCU, and based on the near unanimous critical acclaim and great audience reception it seems like it succeeded.

True, Snyder never really did face any accountability for the movies he made. He should be in prison for Sucker Punch alone.

Mass layoffs across multiple industries, America is in a recession quickly sliding into a depression from Trump's catastrophic policies, America is blinded by an ever increasing stock market while the dollar devalues and the economy craters

Not with the hundreds of millions they blew on marketing.

I can guarantee you that they expected to beat Man of Steel, which if made today would've made $920M.

>Own coffee shop that generations of people like
>Get new manager named Snyder.
>He decides to make it an edgy raw vibe using cracked cups, flickering old lights and blasting limp bizkit music and inviting in junkies and hobos.
>Soon customers stop going
>Snyder is fired
>New manager is hired and tries to restore the store
>Doesn't get as many customers since they don't trust the brand anymore.
>Snydershop defenders: "Hahaha the new manager isn't as good as Snyder"

Superman was a flop to the suits and investors who expected Superman to win the summer but it got raped by Jurassic World and showed capeshit interest is definitely waning worldwide. When Supergirl bombs Gunn is definitely getting demoted or replaced. Right now the DCU's life doesn't look long. I give it 2-4 years at the most. If Supergirl is not on this list and makes more than Wonder Woman. Its over.

The layoffs are not for shits and giggles, they're done to keep the company alive. Even here, it's one tenth of their movie department.

Jeets are so stupid and know nothing about business and wonder why their country is poor. All studios right now are struggling with the new business model that is steaming. Disney and WB went to war with Netflix and got their asses handed to them and now they’re putting their shit back on Netflix. Theaters are going to be dead in the next 10-15 years. Covid accelerate it. You’ll have small novelty theaters but the big chain ones will be gone. They’re all on verge of bankruptcy with few investors interested interested because don’t see it being sustainable

And instead of wasting billions and billions not just in hard cash, but in time/opportunity you could just give 500m to Snyder so everyone can move on. Imagine wasting a whole decade and countless billions dollars because you dont want to give a man 500m.
Its quite a small ransom desu

If the previous owner of car runs it into the ground and the new owner tries to repair it but it breaks down anyways, who is to blame?

Didnt happen. All Zack Snyder DCEU were biggest hits than the previous movie with the peak being Aquaman 1 before Hamada started releasing shit.
Mind you the real damage was the 3rd phase of the dceu (flash, blue beetle, shazam 2, TSS, aquaman 2). All of those were reshot and given notes by Gunn btw. TSS and BB are even canon in the new universe
