Seriously, at least give the first one a try sometimes. It’s so much fun and so soulful.

The only one I know is Wheels on Meals, and the only part I remember was Jackie Chan fighting Benny the Jet Urquidez with neither of them using stunt doubles

Young and dangerous was a Mexican tv classic that somehow got played at midnight. Pure kino and there is a saga. Sidequel, sequels and prequels. You want to watch all of them. There was a funny clip of a taxi driver ranting around honk Kong to a passenger but I can't remember the title.

Made in Hong Kong, pretty good independent debut of a comic relief actor turned director to vent against chicom takeover using allegories of a petty criminal youth, a wandering girl and a retard.

The music video by mondo grosso titled labyrinth. Neon city cyberpunk vibes.

It's not a genre of music I normally listen to, but there's something incredibly hypnotising about the song and video. It's more like a journey than a song as you follow her dancing through the streets.

Yes Madam is pretty good, despite what the fame says it is actually about two conmen and their third blood brother fraudster getting in trouble with two lady martial artist cops and a triad hitman.
The sequel Righting Wrongs is also pretty good if bleak as fuck but that's a given in the HK blood opera movies.

Holy shit. I've been recommending that for years and this is the first time i've seen someone else mention it.
I fucking LOVE the aesthetic of that movie. The setting, the costumes, the ridiculously strange lighting and choreography etc, It looks like no other martial arts movie. And it has the best villain.

Based. That’s a really great movie. I’m surprised it’s not more popular. Anyone who likes WKW owes it to themselves to check it out.

Chow Yun-Fat is great, so I'd second >>213547133 or >>213547154 as recommendations.
For something a little more comic I'd also suggest God of Gamblers.

I tried watching this and I was cringing at how ridiculous the first 10 minutes was. I really like Chow-Yun Fat's other movies though. Was I being a lil bitch or is probably not my thing?
