Disney adheres to what I call the "Russian school of leadership", known for the promotion of such values as
-unbridled arrogance
-systemic dishonesty
-cutting corners (frequently in the dumbest way possible)
-deceit of others
-self-deceit
-willful denial of reality
-recruitment practices that placed emphasis on social standing rather than expertise
-disregard for international and long-established rules and regulations, both formal and informal
-organizational culture of ass-kissing where you are not allowed to give your superiors a reality check or give them "No" for an answer, and you find yourself without a job (or your life) if you dare to do so
-almost certainly massive levels of graft where everyone was stealing from the pot
Along with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the leadup to and subsequent handling of the Chernobyl disaster, and OceanGate, Disney and LucasArts under Iger/Kennedy should be meticulously studied in every leadership school on this planet as key example of what NOT to do. Hell, they should be studied by every Sunday Bible school since there's dozens of verses from the Old and New Testament that warn about the consequences of this behavior.
