watched 1 last night for the first time since IMAX.
It's crazy how dated the CGI is for the mechs. I think I noticed 5s of weird Na'vi CGI. Otherwise, I completely forgot they were CG. I'm telling ya, some of those cat people shots looked like actual people in make up.

Also why didn't they simply dig under the Na'vi btw?

The Na'vi aren't dumb. Most of them were smarter than humans. They all easily learned English very quickly. Their real actual deity gave them laws to abide by that keeps them at a low technological level, which also keeps the habitat balanced, pristine and continuing to thrive for all their generations after. I'd say the Na'vi won hard. Most of the humans are just slaves and cogs in the machine. And the ones on Pandora are the lucky ones. There's many billions still on Earth that's overcrowded and polluted as fuck.
