Why is nobody talking about Wednesday S2?

I started season 2 and realized that I dont really like the show including season 1 so I stopped watching. I have shows that I watch weekly like foundation and institute so Im not atarved

I watched it, but Wednesday is really getting on my nerves. Was she like this in S1?

It’s because they let Jenna be an executive producer for season 2 and she’s vetoing loads of things related to her character

Already gave my two cents few days ago.
Pretty good. 8/10.
Too many side characters with weak scenes though.
People want snappy ironic humour from Wednesday and worldbuilding, not side characters acting poorly.

Yes, she was always a massive cunt that people at most mildly chide her for but mostly just constantly kiss her ass. It was begrudgingly made into somewhat of a character development moment in season 1 but none of that has passed over to season 2. They have to maintain the ‘edgy girl’ persona or else the character doesn’t exist.

Haven't watched this but I miss my hot Latina boss who was obsessed with Wednesday

I think 3 things are making season 2 fly a bit under the radar:
1. Season 1 was a lot more focused on characters and their relationships (ie the weird love triangle, Wednesday's relationship with her mother, with her roommate, etc etc), this 2nd season still touches on those things but they seem to be taking a backseat to the plot, which is frankly just not that good or interesting, even compared to what was a pretty mediocre plot in season 1

2. As a consequence of point 1, a lot of the tumbler-esk fans, who typically post about the shows they love 24/7 and keep it in the zeitgeist for however long they're obsessed with it, aren't as tuned in as they were for season 1

3. The marketing push is just nowhere near what it was for season 1, nor is the organic WOM that happened during season 1 due to the novelty of the show

Frankly I'm a bit disappointed, I think the premise has the potential to be the next "harry potter", but as per usual netflix has placed incompetent people at the helm

I watched S1 thinking i was not going to like it but it was strangely, good? I mean not great but interesting enough to keep me watching. This season just feels so flat, I olny watched the 1st three eps and don't really want to watch the rest.
