I wanted to like the movie more than I did.
It was fine, just thought it was kinda a weak follow up to Fury Road, one George Miller talked about making for close to a decade, and what I got was.. fine
Honestly the use of CGI was way more noticeable in this one, I could not suspend my disbelief for the big tanker scene because it looked like a video game with actors moving around

That's the only part of the movie I didn't like. Some boy in that environment would likely be raped, leading to knowledge that it's actually a female.
thinly veiled attempt of an ATJ love/hate post. just do the right thing and blame the casting director and director. Nikkia Barret and George Miller. it was their idea to try and bring in the zoomer audience

Sadly you are right. ATJ is the only actress who looks better after getting BOGGED, and this push other beautiful actresses onto this dangerous path, amd it ruins them all.
Also ATJ is the only face right now, who can singlehandedly sold me a movie ticket.
I liked it. Felt more like The Odyssey compared to Fury Road's Iliad. I do wish it had done a bit more to show Furiosa's complicity in Joe's kingdom though. And Joe should have looked younger. Give him a different design.
