indiana jones movies were a blind spot of mine. i watched them all for the first time a few years ago, and have since watched the old ones a few more times.
for me, its temple of doom. the ones where indy hunts down the grail and ark are both fun watches, but seem formulaic beyond the hat, the whip, and the riff. temple of doom, on the other hand, had a certain magic to it that reminded me of the goonies. miles and miles of comfy.

i feel the complete opposite, doom parks on the sacrificial scenes for like 40 straight minutes and there's nothing compelling happening other than hundreds of gallons of sugar blood being wasted on one of the most amateur sets in film history

The Ark of the Covenant is mentioned in The Bible as part of Christian Canon and is also mentioned by Christ specifically. Revelations 11:19 specifically mentions the Ark being in heaven.
