this is what always confuses me
the point is making money
we have red sonja coming up and the first they they do is disparage and reject the red sonja outfit
why?
the people that hate that shit arent going to suddenly turn around and go see it because they shit on the outfit and replaced it
the people that liked it in the first place arent going to be endeared by the outfit being shit on and replaced
theres no win in such a scenario
even from a feminist standpoint it doesnt make sense because it ignores all the women that write and make the art for some of these supposedly unacceptable things
whether its anime in the east or old pulp fantasy in the west both had female writers and artists involved in making some of the very same kind of stuff theyre pretending is too sexual for a female character now
so its not even like theyre speaking for all women with this shit
just a tiny subset of women that hate sexy women and a few beta male orbiters that will parrot anything they say to get their dicks wet
