Sometimes certain episodes of cartoons on reruns would randomly change colors. I remember in certain episodes of Doug in certain moments, Doug would like turn pink briefly. In DBZ reruns when Vegeta is killing the Namekians his hair turns blue at one point. This only happened when I had standard cable with analog TVs

I've never seen anyone else who remembers this besides me. It wasn't just my TV as I also noticed at my grandmas house and etc

My first experience with piracy was recording full length, commercial free movies off of pbs, like henry v and manon of the spring. I couldn't afford to buy them and my movie money went to tickets snd rentals.

I wanted to contribute a more recent example.
Watching a direct-to-VHS sequel a lot more than the acclaimed original movie because that's the one you had at home.

The loneliness epidemic is much older than people realize. The cringe has been present, always.
