>The earth is objectively and demonstrably getting hotter.
We've objectively and demonstrably been leaving an ice age for centuries or longer.
Our magnetic sphere has objectively been weakening (over 10% from 1900 to 2000 alone).
All man-caused greenhouse contributions since the Industrial Revolution combined make up less than 1% of the total atmosphere, a percent of a single percent.
Whether or not the Earth is getting hotter is irrelevant to the question of "What impact has man had on our planet?" Carbon is also the most difficult scale to tip because the more CO2 we add, the more plants thrive and convert back to O2. It's a very sturdy homeostasis with a very powerful negative feedback loop, and we haven't even been able to dent it by +1% yet.
In comparison, the jackasses loudly talking about this ephemeral climate change we have no means of "fixing," all of them distract from the far more significant _environmental_ changes that man has definitely caused and can definitely fix. For example, mercury pollution in our waters. Our toxic rain. Arsenic in soil waters spread to our rice. These are things that should have attention and be fixed, but everyone responsibility for it would rather talk about CO2 and how much USA saves the planet by moving our factories to China instead.
