I can understand wanting to cast younger actors, especially since streaming series are not nearly as prolific as network series of old, but I'm not sure it's a good sign. Buffy's cast largely consisted of people in their mid-20s at the start and I think it was a better show for it. Granted this show probably won't be as clever so it might not matter.
