i've probably read the book at least 10 times and listened to the audio version 4-5 times, when i was younger i was captivated by it but now realize it's kind of cringy, also the judge is way too vague, it's hard to tell if the judge is in the mind of the kid or an actual character, regardless it's overrated and shouldn't be made into a film
