i had a job like that, for a week, they wanted me to work 3 hours per night extra without pay, they way they framed it was if there was work left to do after 9pm then it was my responsibility to stay behind and do the additional work, in reality there was far too much work for one person to do within the set hours, so after a week of doing an extra 3 hours work a night i just didn't show up, took the train into the city and got drunk with my buddy instead, no regrets

Get a job working as a SPED wrangler or a receptionist or behind a desk. That's 40 hours a week doing very little physical labor and a very nice increase in your salary every year. Great health insurance too, and a pension. You get summer break off and if you play your cards right, you can spend time doing even less work.
