I remember back in 6th grade me and my classmates used to watch this show all the time. When we were in English class and it was time to read aloud, I would always do my spot-on Uncle impression and read the paragraph in his voice. I sounded exactly like him and it always got a laugh. No matter how many times teachers told me to quit doing it, I never stopped because it was such a hit with my classmates. To me it wasn't racist, just a funny voice I liked to do for my friends' amusement.
Then we had to read "To Kill a Mockingbird" and my English teacher specifically picked me to read a certain part thinking I wouldn't have the balls to do the voice in front of everyone. Let me tell you, you haven't lived until you've heard Uncle unabashedly call someone a nigger at the top of his elderly Chinese lungs. The detention I got was very much worth it.
