Lots of child actors. Easier for them to step away from acting, go back to school, and be a "regular kid." And nobody's going to look at a former child actor, now in college, and think, "lol, washed out and irrelevant."
I kind of want to narrow the question to actors who as an adult successfully changed careers to something non-entertainment (ie producing, directing, starting a band) or even in the public eye (politics.)
