I've really grown to hate the concept of "worldbuilding" That is something that should come naturally out of writing new stories. It shouldn't be a main objective because that is when the writers start crawling up their own ass. It becomes self indulgent, referential fanwank while an actual plot that anyone would be interested in falls by the wayside.
