The 2nd movie is the best because it has one of the best scenes in cinema history. When the dog is injured in the Championship game, the coach tells the team they deserve to win the game because they believed that a dog could play football. Not because they did any training because that was never shown throughout the film. The dog literally did everything for them to win. One of the most kino moments in cinematic history.

When the kid tries to get Air Bud to leave and pushes him away yelling at him. The dog doesn't know its a movie. It's sad.

Will the remake have even a tenth of the soul?
