colbert getting canned was a wake up call for the rest of these lame late night shows no one is watching. Fallon knows if colbert can be cancelled so can he, unless he does something to appeal to a larger audience. Every single person involved in the show despises having to have a conservative personality on but is stomaching it only to save their jobs.

Fallon has always been the least political and most middle of the road of the late night hosts. And for awhile he suffered for it. Kimmel, Colbert and the rest of the cuck crew really leaned into the Democratic Ministers of Propaganda role and it helped boost their ratings short-term. Now that the pendulum is shifting, the apolitical guy who will show people from both sides (remember is was Fallon and ONLY Fallon that hosted Trump) is going to be the last man standing.
