To keep them under control, specially in the age of information where harmful ideas are easy to access is necessary to keep them constantly vigilated and control what they can access, what language do they use, how much noise do they make and it also help the serf class below us to fulfill their purpose which is to reproduce and produce food without other distractions so it's 2 birds for 1 shot
