There was a noticeable expression of disappointment on Krista's face in the episodes preceding her death
It made me wonder if the actress was cringing at being part of the show, hating the role, on the rag or what. Now I realize it was probably because she was bummed knowing her character was going to be killed off early on probably as she was getting settled into the role and bonding with the cast, and now she's like a kid who has to change schools halfway through the grade. Less paycheck for doing less episodes. The food in catering was probably comfy too or maybe she wanted Axel's D irl.

Yeah season 2 got off to a slow start. I liked some of John's arc being a pizza delivery guy now. But it was so short lived.

I really wish that they had expanded on afew of the other contestants fights and battles. We didn't get to see Mr Grimm until the end. These 30 minute episodes are too damn short.

They could've incorporated a lot of the darker serious/dramatic aspects of Black into the series, but instead chose to steer it into horror comedy, which works for attracting mainstream audiences. Essentially it's turning the Twisted Metal world into a modern day streaming service show, with lighthearted comedy, colors and big dumb action rather than making something dark, bleak and artistic like Black. If it was filmed like Black or even the TM 2012 cutscenes it would filter a lot of the audience. It would be an instant money void and execs know it. The unfortunate truth is that if there's depth or artistic value, then it's instantly inaccessible.
