Even at its worst, The Boys comic had more soul because, as bad as he can get, Ennis is still a soulful goy whereas the TV show is two sick, venal Jews raping whatever little sincerity and humanity the comics. The powerful ending with Hughie and Butcher is never going to happen with the way the show has deviated. Not like it matters.

Jason or Ennis? The first 60 issues of Punisher Max are a kino. So are his take on Nick Fury. Hitman is good but dated, Preacher is good but overrated. Most of his Battlefields stuff is very good and 303 is superb. His Crossed stuff, the books actually written by him, are hit or miss depending on your taste but it is not as people say all edge lord shit. That is again other writers who don't know what to do with Crossed.
