Children should be fucking banned from the cinema
There were a bunch of teenagers behind me constantly talking throughout the film and just being obnoxious as fuck. Why the hell would you spend money to watch a movie and have no etiquette

Last time this happened to me, someone in the audience yelled "Shut the fuck up!" aggressively and they were quieter for the rest of the film.

It was 4 drunk 20 year old looking kids. It was a boomer who yelled at them and trust me he yell it with conviction. The kids laughed at it and shrugged it off, and poured another glass of beer from their pitchers. This was in 2019 in avengers endgame in an adult only theatre that serves liquor. I was amused by the drunk frat kids because their commentary was actually funny, they straight up yelled at the screen that captain marvel is a dyke when she came on screen with her new haircut. Some boomers behind me weren’t having it, I could hear them whispering in frustration, but I could tell nobody was going to actually stand up and do anything to silence them. I had seen endgame 2 days prior so I wasn’t missing out on anything with the noise. It was one of the funnier theatre experiences I’ve had. They all drank 2 pitchers of beer each and then I saw them get into their vehicles and drive home at 4pm.

I just saw Naked Gun and a whole family sat down in front of me. There was a preshow thing that mentioned the sequel to Wicked coming out this year.

Dad went, "WHAT!?!" legitimately. His 12 year old son started hiding his face and sliding to the opposite side of his seat from his family.

This guy's wife actually told him about the movie quietly and he said, "IT'S A SEQUEL?!?"

Give kids more credit.

This reminds me of when I told a guy who was sitting next to me to leave after I asked him if he had the ticked for the seat. He said no. I told him he had to leave or I'd get the manager because he stunk. He went "What?" to that.

yeah he was weak and alone. people just have a natural built in software for profiling people as someone who can be fucked with or someone who its better not to risk it because they might do something stupid and short sighted, because in civilized society assaulting someone over a verbal dispute puts you in jail and ruins your life. the irony is that the latter will not only not be fucked with but can freely fuck with other people that look weak, just do day to day sociopathic shit like steal seats, places in line, parking spaces, and almost never have to put their money where their mouth is. meanwhile the former are constantly being fucked with, and their only recourse is to escalate which they can do exactly one (1) time before fucking themselves permanently for a few moments of restored ego. its similar to school where the bullied kid just has to take it because if he responds now he's the crazy spaz making a big deal over nothing
