Which of the movie brats had the best New Hollywood era run?
Why?
Anonymous No.213685674 >>213685706 >>213691833
Coppola

Godfather -> The Conversation -> Godfather II -> Apocalypse Now is the best run of four consecutive movies any director has ever had.

What makes it even more special is that he only made like two above average movies outside of that stretch and they were like 7/10s at best

I like De Palma, hands down can watch anything he makes. For the Jew, only 'Hook' is in my book. Unfortunately it has the same, "dad give me attention," dribble that 'Berg suffered from as a kid and puts in so many of his films.

Conversation is the most skilled. Cimino's still the greatest heights as self-guided artist.

Why Lucas even on that list? he only directed two movies and one is literally the basis for every terrible B sci-fi flick from the late 80s to early 2000s.
The only kino Lucas really made was 'Temple of Doom,' which people only hate because muh racism and no nazis being beaten up or burning alive

American Graffiti is an 11/10 movies, an incredibly natural slice of life story that will make you nostalgic for a time you never personally experienced because its a story about fundamental moments in life.
Its beautifully shot too.
If star wars never existed, people would still be talking about lucas because of this movie.

George Lucas by a country mile.
Star Wars (1977) alone is legendary. Indiana Jones, just the first two film are legendary.
Willow is beloved, although not legendary by most reports.

Spielberg is too much of a jew pedophile israeli demon. De palma is too much of a faggot. Lucas is meme tier despite star wars having good stuff in it. Friedkin is god tier but he's just made so much garbage that it'd weigh him down despite the 10/10s he's made. Coppola and Marty would be competing for top spot. Marty would probably be my pick for the more entertaining of the two, and Coppola would be the more kino one of the two.
