I thought it was pretty good, when the first few scenes of the twins were happening I thought it was gonna be awful and cartoonish with them, but it turned out to work pretty well. I think most people have noticed the first half is alot better than the second, Slim was by far my favorite part of the movie, I thought the dancing throughout the years scene where they included twerking was silly, cause I just think twerking is silly. I think the movie looked way too grey and cold, but I just think that might be because like 98% of modern movies don't know how to color, it should have looked much more like something like A time to kill, all hot and orange and sweaty. I also thought that Stack's death scene at the end kinda sucked ass, since it was against what were basically no name random henchman, there was no real emotional weight or struggle to the scene, like the movie ended and then they just decided there should be one more valiant sacrifice scene. The post credit ending in modern times also felt similarly tacked on, something that should have just been cut entirely. I personally like the deep south alot as a paranormal setting, I absolutely love me and the devil blues, and I think the movie delivered on some of that, but it was overall like a 6 or 7 out of 10, pretty good, but not the absolute masterpiece that people seem to be making it out to be
