There's nostalgia for the 2010s already. The start of the cultural void. I have no faith left that our species will ever course correct and things will simply keep getting more and more derivative and vapid. When older people waxed nostalgic for their yesteryears you could at least see why. Any future look back into this part of history will be like pining for the Dark Ages.

We should have entered 90s nostalgia in the 2010s because the cycles go every 20 years, in fact there was a lot of 90s nostalgia back then but then it just went straight back into 80s nostalgia like people saw the writing on the wall that everything started going to shit in the 2000s so there was no point in going any further. So now we're stuck with 80s nostalgia forever.

Nobody is talking about major conflicts and historical events, the original retard who instigated this was the retarded faggot at the top of the thread who assumed that nobody created "products" before the modern era, which is so patently absurd, it only deserves ridicule and mockery.

Anything anyone has ever made or harvested, and sold for profit, or has been commissioned to create, was engaging in commerce, and they were trading a product. End of story. What, you think the Sistine Chapel was painted just out of the goodness and dedication and spiritual love of Michelangelo's heart? Twisted metal is entirely 90s nostalgia. I think Subway Boy made that movie mid 90s, never saw it though. There was also that show "Everything Sucks" with that locker room scene with Sidney Sweeney. The 90s and everything going forward isn't that interesting, because there isnt any real specific culture. Yes you have clothes and fads, but no real culture, or at least an immediatley identifiable one, one thats interesting to watch. People want to watch a time where life was smaller simpler. The 80s work perfectly because of this, its the last decade before internet/globalization/whatever the fuck you want to call it, but still relatable to a modern audience.

Pretty much every major religion is blunt about the fact that financial or social gain is not the point of following said religion (even if in many circumstances it is irl) and that said paradise or afterlife is one based on how virtuous you are, not your class or standing.
You'll find that descriptions of heaven in the bible, and that of most afterlife mythologies (with some exceptions like Islam) either have reincarnation narratives where you evolve or devolve depending on your virtuousness in life or a very abstract, "good" place detatched from reality and everything else.

Sometimes 30. Back to the Future and other shit was nostalgic for the 1950s in the 1980s. What's more the case than a single abstract rule is that when kids and teenagers are now adults and able to produce/write content or are a major market you want to appeal to them. Millennial writing was for millennials more than it was by them (Until recently).

80s nostalgia's enduring success makes me think it might be one of those lasting decadent fixations. The same way the wild west was for well over 30 years, or how the Greeks for awhile did nothing but regurgitate Homeric Heroic age stuff.

I think it's because culturally the 90s were like 3 different decades in one. There is more similarity between 1981 and 1989 than between 1993 and 1997.

Early mid and late 90s are all wildly different eras.

Early 90s is characterized by widespread adoption of black culture. Tons of white kids listening to rap like MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, etc, and watching Fresh Prince and In Living Color.

Mid 90s is all about grunge music and that aestehetic. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, comics going "edgy" and "mature", Superman dies, Batman gets his back broken, Green Lantern turns evil, Wolverine gets his adamantium ripped out by Magneto, etc. Dial Up internet as we came to know it is born in this era. Windows 95 ships with AOL trials preinstalled, the first computers where modems came standard as opposed to an expensive addon, the BBSes start converting to dialup providers, the WWW is born.

Late 90s was the "Attitude" era. Full blown edgy, marilyn manson, Austin 3:16 giving the finger on basic cable, every form of entertainment pushing boundaries.

They will never allow 90's nostalgia because it's literally better versions of living that's been replaced. Best video games with no online micro transaction bullshit. Music and films were all great all affordable with no politics or virtue signaling and you owned them forever on unalterable physical media. Mobile phones where just becoming a thing but weren't an obsession taking over life. The Internet was becoming available but actually had intelligence as a barrier to entry so had no women or whinorities to ruin it. There was no social media. No real muh feminism. Blacks were still seen as the criminals they are. Fags were still a joke and trannies had to cross dress and couldn't even mutilate themselves. It was just a better time. People were happier, living was still affordable and there was actually hope for the future.

80s also had 2 phases, early 80s with many colors and late 80s with dark colors and leather jackets
similar to 90s but opposite, early 90s with black/brown colors and "black culture" in mass media as continuity and evolution of late 80s
and late 90s with colors and "new millennium" hopes
2010s were 3 or 4 phase with 2019 when "back to 90s aesthetic" started but not yet called as "90s nostalgia"
in 2020s we have change everything at once, every single year change for something different to consume, because it is all about consumerism

The fast approaching economic crisis will be like a nuclear bomb going off in wall street. The economy right now is being backed up by hard working middle aged white people who will all retire within the next 10-15 years and the effects of this will lead to the reveal that there is no โ€œuniversal human beingโ€ and that all the brown subhumans they have imported cannot replace whites with a good work ethic because browns simply do not function like we do.

Realistically this economic crisis will be the only thing that can snap the globalists out of their trance because all their assets will be losing their value at a record pace. You have to remember that these rich fucks talk a lot of shit but all their wealth is tied up in companies, stocks and real estate that requires a healthy nation to function and be worth anything.

London is already starting to show a trend in declining housing prices because everyone is trying to get out of there be it regular working whites who seek out their own people in other parts of England or rich globalist assholes trying to escape the new tax laws.

This will be interesting to watch and remember that it literally isnโ€™t your problem no matter how loudly they kvetch and scream and cry.
