I've seen thousands of russians getting shot and blown up, and most of them don't instantly die unless they're hit in the head or literally explode into several pieces.

Okay, but I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about people on aggregate across a culture. Obviously there's a whole spectrum of opinions, but you can average it all out and get an overall sentiment. The sentiment of Russians towards Japan is overall more negative than that of Americans to Japan.

I don't necessarily like it, but it's interesting to see what the world is really like. The fact that they're russians makes it easier, though.
>>213697340 >The universe doesn't reward those that disrupts peace. There is no pivot.
Yes it does. The past couple of hundred years has just been Russia ganking shit across Eurasia.

Not saying I want to live there. Just saying that the Russians get what
they want. They'll happily eat a shit sandwich if Russia gets more clay.

You don't understand. They're drunk on ideology. Their reward is beating their chests and saying "ME BIG CONQUEROR." If they get to feel like tough guys, then that's the reward. They don't really care about dying of alcoholism at 48.

By the time this war is over, that life expectancy will be even shorter. The Ukraine war has permanently damaged Russia's pop-culture image as a continental juggernaut that could roll all of Europe in weeks. Kino will never be the same.

How do they do that, if the world sends all of their weapons there, and big tough Putin uses nuclear weapons like he threatened to, and we use them back. You see, in the end, you don't get what you want. The universe will equalize. It's just math, son.

Intermediate cartridges are different than full-power rifle cartridges like the .30-06. And the trope of combatants going down in one shot by something like a rifle exists for a reason. Even though it might be more realistic to show some of them squirming or crawling on the ground after getting hit. Films are not unedited combat footage.

I wonder if the West's pop culture image fed into Russia's own delusions. They attacked Ukraine with less than 200,000 men and expected them to just roll over.
>>213696853 (OP) >emphasize hand to hand combat and CQC training in an era of mechanized combined arms warfare >only have WWI tier guns, no squad SMGs or anti tank weapons >their only tanks are also WWI tier >medieval-tier logistics meaning they never have enough ammo or even food >regularly lose 80-90% of their men due to preventable starvation or diseases >get completely curbstomped by the same Russian army that itself got curbstomped by fucking FINLAND in 1939, so badly they decide to not attack USSR for remainder of the war >retarded military culture means commanders operate independently, often lead suicidal banzai charges defying their commander's orders >only combat effective against Chinese peasants armed with spears and muskets >zerg rush barely defended colonial garrisons until that US navy and marine corps blow them the fuck out >their most battle hardened veteran army gets mopped up in 2 weeks across an area the size of France, faster than the German blitzkrieg
it's time to stop romanticizing the japanese and recognize that they were actually worse than the italian army in WWII
