Do you think J-Dawg will be able to handle another season? I think the stress is becoming overwhelming for him. Maybe if he sells the stupid fucking pub/restaurant/gift shop and only has to worry about a failing farm then he will be alright

the first season felt pretty natural but it quickly became script slop the same way late top gear did.

Yeah the farming bits can still be comfy but every season having a new big gimmick (farm shop, pub etc) isn't interesting. Also like you say the scripted parts are becoming more and more frequent

I do wonder how they are gonna handle all the farmer protests in the next season. It was clearly gonna be a big part of the next season (they were seen filming at the protests). Clarkson was a figurehead until he was asked to stop representing them because journalists had loads of quotes where he said he brought the farm to avoid tax kek

I don’t think there’s too much real stress for someone swimming in money who makes a shit ton filming this for comedy. He’s not a real farmer, you realize that right? Literally bought it as a tax haven and now LARPs for money.
Don’t get me wrong, as far as a rich cunt whining about things he’s actually whining about things that affect people who do work hard. Lots of exposing how broken farming is, and that’s great. But even in the last season it’s clear they’re done with the farming story because it gets samey so they did the restaurant arc. I expect more about that and general running a business woes.
Which, again, is really affected when the man is not impacted by this being a real world failure at all. At least May is open about his pub just being a vanity exercise. Hamster’s restoration shop he pays for every year and then pretends to want it to be a real business. Even got a tat for it so he might just be deranged.
