You can tell, too. The only defense the movie has when it's accused of being pedo bait is that Leon seems to get flustered and weirded out by the kid's attraction to him. Reno is trying his absolute best to make sure everyone knows his character is not into her, and to his credit it comes off as endearing. The director is a fucking weirdo if he wanted to push it further.
