The Mule is a lot of telling and not a whole lot of showing. Sure they showed his powers, but I don't get a sense of why he's a big deal. Alright, he took over one planet. Why does everyone immediately assume he's a galactic threat?

Also, the show doesn't make a case for psychohistory and the inevitable decay of the empire. It tells you psychohistory is important and that the empire will collapse for sure but not why. You just have to believe the premise.

Finally, the show can't seem to decide on whether Demerzel is good or bad, whether the Foundation is saving mankind or just engineering the empire's collapse, etc. It's like they're purposefully keeping things vague and ambiguous as a way to force mystery.
