Is the original Lynda Carter Wonder Woman series worth watching?

Its campy like Batman 66. If you like that sort of thing and are a heterosexual male its fun to watch.

WWII episodes for sure. I like the jump to the 70's but it's not as confident a recommendation. And towards the end they sort of start stripping away elements of the show and it feels less like Wonder Woman. Like Diana Prince feels totally different near the end like when they have an episode dedicated to promoting Lynda Carter's album.

I'm still trying to find out if any other show has used these sets
I only spotted them in the Salem's Lot TV miniseries, painted green and repurposed as a hospital

I prefer her latter demeanor, feels more charming and down to earth
But each approach she took worked in the changing contexts of the show. It made sense for her to be naive and out of place at first, then kind of mature and ethereal in the "more serious" context of the first half of the second season, then approachable and more sassy when she was carrying the show more on her own rather than bouncing off a supporting cast

>WWII
Is that why they made the remake a Jewish girl, so she could kick Nazi butt?

Lynda Carters demeanor was always perfect even in the WWII season.

yup its actually well written and well shot, humorous and sincere. Good morality plays every episode and Lynda is beautiful enough to convincingly play WW and have all men around her melt.

its probably 30% more 'realistic' in that they dont build cartoon sets and the dialogue is more natural. But its definitely similar enough that Wests Batman could appear in an episode or she could appear in Wests Batman world.

Yes.

I think the first season was a bit more grounded - playing it straight - than the second two.
