Aside from tricking people into thinking it’s a Jordan Peele movie, the trailer makes no sense. Are black people really gonna pay to watch some avant-garde horror bullshit?

To be honest. I couldn't care less. If black people want to make movies about black people, I don't have to watch them. I'd rather that then them constantly shoving themselves into everything else.
okay I actually watched a test screening of this (fuck the NDA LOL) screencap or whatever but here's how it goes: there's a football guy who goes to train on a compound with a super famous legend who is renowned for never having gotten hurt despite being old ah hell and playing football forever. he finds out that the dude stays uninjured forever by some satanic ritual that allows him to transfer any injury to his gimp in his secret dungeon, Makima style. The MC finds out and tries to run away but it turns out the gimp likes it because he wants his buddy to be the best footballer? Then the famous guy tells him that he has to take over the satanic ritual and turn his own best friend into a sacrificial gimp, which he volunteers for, for some reason. Wait, no, it's actually his brother I think? He wanted to play football himself but wasn't good enough. So anyway they do the ritual and the MC resigns his brother to being a sacrificial gimp to take on all his injuries for the rest of his life, the end. I'm not bullshitting here, but yeah it sucks. I'm tryna fuck a chinese girl btw
